I attended the National day of Prayer event in Superior WI. with a sign that said "National Day of Prayer, Pray for the end of abortion"
Disappointed is not the word I choose to use, frankly I was quite repulsed and disgusted.
This Nation is murdering God's Unborn Children, over 50 million since Roe v. Wade. 50 MILLION this is more than the Jewish Holocaust! Listen to what God says about the shedding of innocent blood:
"And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood."
(Isaiah 1:15)
But, you say, I am not responsible for this blood shed I was never involved in an abortion.
Listen to what God says:
"And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin."
(Jeremiah 32:35)
"But flesh with its life, which is its blood, shall you not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. Whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."

Innocent blood has a voice!
"And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, Again, you shall say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that gives any of his children unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he has given of his children unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. And if the people of the land do in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives of his children unto Molech, and kill him not: Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that play the harlot with him, to commit harlotry after Molech, from among their people. "

God's command for today is to, "Deliver those that are drawn toward death, hold back those that are stumbling to the slaughter; If you say, Behold, we knew it not; does not he that weighs the heart consider it? and he that keeps your soul, does not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?"
(Proverbs 24:11-12)
Let me tell you something, the Building for Women in Duluth Minnesota on 32 E 1st street is MURDERING babies and if you close your eyes, God says that YOU are as guilty as those committing abortions!

How do you like that?!
So what does all this have to do with the National Day of Prayer?
Not once was the sin of abortion mentioned in ANY of the prayers prayed that day, not ONCE was there a mention of the sin of homosexuality, there was zero repentance!
In fact one "Pastor" prayed for God to bless Barack Obama! Yes, Romans 13 tells us to pray for those in authority, but God WILL not and CANNOT bless a man who supports this and this and this!!!
"He that justifies the wicked, and he that condemns the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. "
(Proverbs 17:15)
A women at the event sang "God bless America", some prayed for revival and quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
But how can God "Heal our land" when the people called by his name will not even address the slaughtering of his children! What they left out at this event, was the turning from our wicked way part of the verse, instead of crying out to God with a broken heart saying "We have sinned against you" "We have broken your Holy law "
"We have turned our eyes away from the shedding of innocent blood" Most of the prayers prayed were in so many words; "God bless us every one"
Again, consider Gods word:
"Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. "
(Proverbs 14:34)
"In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servants the prophets. Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon."

The question is really, why should God bless America?
P.S. Do you remember last year at the National day of Prayer when Ravi Zacharias would not even pray in Jesus name? How can God "Bless" that?!!
